Description: This dramatic, clip point hunter shows the influence of knives by Mastersmiths Ed Fowler and Bill Burke.
The recurve, clip point blade was forged to shape from Aaron's own feather pattern damascus. The steel combines three different steels to create one of the most captivating patterns that I have seen in quite some time. By forging the blade to shape, Aaron makes the damascus radiate from a central quill.
The handle combines warm toned desert ironwood with sambar stag. Stag of this quality has become increasingly rare. Alternating nickel and black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The handle feels so natural in the hand, you’ll have a hard time putting it down. A serious field knife for the avid hunter or collector.
The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched pouch style sheath. The 9-10oz leather has been hand tooled in a basket weave pattern.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
