Description: This exceptional hunter was made by bladesmith Fred Ott of Durango, Colorado. Fred creates dramatic knives that embody his out-of-the-box thinking.
Fred forged the bold, high contrast twist damascus by combining 1080 and 15N20 carbon steels. The swirling pattern immediately grabs attention from a distance and holds it upon closer examination. The blade has been shaped with a distal taper for optimal balance.
Fred used Bocote wood as the backbone for a very unique handle. Black veins in the wood are handsomely accented by both the buffalo horn spacer and the ebony pin. The handle is shaped to swell gently at the pommel, ensuring a secure and comfortable grip. A nickel silver guard completes the knife. Accompanied by a hand stitched brown leather sheath.
An amazing addition to any collection or a prized knife for the outdoorsman that wants something unique.
