Description: An exceptional hunter by Fred Ott!
Fred began this blade by forging out a bar of damascus from 15N20 and 1080 carbon steels, which was in turn forged to shape. The clip point blade is distal tapered for optimal balance. The oval guard and fileworked spacer are each formed from nickel silver.
The curly maple handle has a comfortable feel in the hand and is sure to be a knife that you won't want to put down. Fred shows tremendous skill by inlaying fine silver wire into the handle to create the image of peppers growing on a vine. Differential dying incorporates red and green tones.
The knife is accompanied by a hand tooled leather sheath. Tremendous fit and finish throughout!
