Description: Bradford Knives are handmade in Renton, Washington. Bradford Larkin's background working in an aerospace machine shop is clearly evident in this high performance, elegant chef's knife. This 7-1/2 inch chef's knife is a perfect choice as the 'go-to' knife in the kitchen. Whether a home gourmet or a professional chef, this is a perfect choice when chopping, slicing and dicing.
The blade is formed from ultra-high performance Bohler M390 stainless steel and heat treated by Stack Metallurgical for a keen, long lasting edge (Hrc 59.5 -60.5). It is flat ground for precise cutting. Corners along the spine and choil have been nicely rounded for comfortable, extended use.
Carbon fiber scales are carved to swell at the middle, moving into a slimmer waist, and swell again at the back, ensuring a secure, comfortable grip. Red fiber spacers add a nice contrast. The scales are set with epoxy and fastened with custom made stainless corby fasteners.
Exceptional fit and finish on a tremendous handmade chef's knife. Both the choice of materials and Brad's keen understanding of the shape make this a perfect choice for either a home or professional chef.
