Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius combined his skill at knifemaking with the Nylund brothers when he created this exceptional puukko.
The multi-bar damascus blade was forged to shape by Finnish bladesmiths Simon and Jakob Nylund. The highly complex blade was forged to shape from 20C and 15N20 carbon steels. The edge bar is a tight firecracker pattern. The mosaic damascus primary bar has radialed explosions traveling across the blade. The blade alone is absolutely exceptional!
The elegant handle combines ancient mammoth ivory with a spacer formed from birch bark. The layered spacer adds great contrast. The front 'bolster' is formed from burnt cream toned mammoth ivory and is scrimshawed on each side. The ivory is beautifully carved for a secure, comfortable grip.
The knife is accompanied by a traditional Swedish single seamed leather sheath.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
