Description: Anders Hogstrom creates knives with an intriguing fusion of Japanese and Nordic cultures. He blends the techniques and styles of his native Sweden with those learned from Scott Slobodian during his apprenticeship in the United States. This influence, combined with his tremendous skill, makes for knives that are beautifully original.
This boot dagger from Anders is truly exceptional! The blade began with ladder pattern damascus forged by American knifemaker Randy Haas.
The handle is formed from presentation grade Australian lace casuarina burl. The highly polished wood is truly exceptional! It is surrounded by black micarta accents. The antiqued and textured sterling silver guard provides perfect visual balance.
The knife is accompanied by a traditional Swedish single seamed leather sheath. Exceptional work throughout!
