Description: This exceptional handmade chef's utility knife is the work of bladesmith Kelly Dallyn. It is a perfect choice to grab when doing detail work in the kitchen. Slicing tomatoes and onions will be a breeze! The gentle rock of the blade is perfect for chopping and slicing. This is a perfect choice for a chef looking for a high performance knife that is heavier than a Japanese knife.
The blade was forged to shape from Kelly's own damascus. It is a bold, high contrast pool and eye pattern that immediately captures attention. The blade is distal tapered for optimal balance and is brought to a razor sharp edge. A clear differential heat treatment is visible in the blade which results in a long lasting edge with strength and durability from the spine. Because this knife is forged from carbon steels, we recommend camellia oil to avoid rust and oxidation.
Arizona desert ironwood scales are set on a full tang with nickel silver and mosaic pins. Stainless steel bolsters are dovetailed to the ironwood ensuring a perfect fit.
Exceptional fit throughout.
